Exhibition Stand for Axis Europe

Axis Europe have recently exhibited at the South East's leading conference & exhibition for the affordable housing sector in Brighton, East Sussex at the Brighton Centre. Decoco were commissioned from the start of the project to deliver the design & installation of their exhibition presence.

Utilising the full 3m x 3m space through rigid PVC foamex wall graphics the stand provided Axis Europe with clear & defined promotional messaging .

Overboarding the usually very drab header boards with bespoke panels certainly made their normal shell-scheme display stand out from the crowd.

And a 180cm diameter inflatable branded exhibition sphere, floating above their stand, also helped!

Update - Chartered Institute of Housing South East have recently issued the 2017 conference dates as Monday, 6th to Wednesday, 8th March 2017. The conference and exhibition will be again hosted at the Brighton Centre, Brighton.
Decoco can certainly help with your exhibition plans for CIH SE Conference 2017, including with the concept design, graphics and exhibition stand production & installation. For an initial chat, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Sharratts 15th anniversary celebrations

Sharratts celebrated their 15th anniversary with 150 people from the affordable housing industry at Searcy’s St Pancras Grand on Thursday, 22 May.  Decoco provided a full event management service to Sharratts for this event covering both pre-event (such as initial venue research & selection, cost management, venue coordination, invitation design and more) through to on-the-night event management services.

Sharratts 15th anniversary at Searcy’s St Pancras Grand

Sharratts is a boutique firm of senior housing solicitors providing a professional, affordable service specifically for social housing providers and their partners. Richard Locke commissioned Decoco so that he and colleagues could host an event to celebrate his establishment of Sharratts 15 years ago with Gillian Metcalf. Colleagues from across the affordable housing industry attended this memorable evening held at Searcy’s St Pancras Grand. Guests discovered a stunning restaurant in the regenerated St Pancras International Station. The restaurant, Searcy’s St Pancras Grand, was created by respected designer Martin Brudnizki and is situated opposite the Searcys Champagne Bar on the Grand Terrace. The venue, including an elegant oyster bar, is the perfect space for a stylish and intimate reception. Guests enjoyed a variety of seafood and champagne served from the oyster bar, which gives a fantastic view across the entire venue, along with canapés, reception drinks and music by a four piece jazz band & vocalist.

Away Day in the Sussex Countryside

A jam-packed day was delivered yesterday in the beautiful Sussex countryside for the Partners and staff of calfordseaden. A multi-activity itinerary was experienced by everyone, including an evening BBQ, live music and good old-fashioned bumper cars!

A venue close to Bewl Water was chosen to provide the main aspect of the day, including Honda pilots, quad biking, cannel-crossing, archery, lazer clay pigeon shooting and other team building activities.

For those wishing a more leisurely day, Scotney Castle provided the perfect backdrop for an outdoor art class, tour of the castle & grounds and a visit to sample a traditional brewery & hop house.

Competitive team building at its best saw teams completing for the fastest lap in a Honda pilot, testing handling skills on a quad bike and finishing a mine-field (imaginary of course) crossing in the least amount of moves.

The weather was definitely kind, which of course added to a superb day – with 180 people seemingly having a thoroughly enjoyable day. The great band Made In London would probably of like more people on the dance floor, but unfortunately people couldn’t resist continuing the competitive nature of the day on the bumper cars!

Astor Hostels Celebrating 40 years

Decoco has recently undertaken a commission with Astor Hostels, to help them to promote their 40th year celebrations. Astor Hostels are an independent family run youth hostel group, founded in 1974. Presently they can cater for over 500 travellers a day across their four hostels located around central London – Astor Hyde Park, Astor Queensway, Astor Victoria and Astor Museum, located just around the corner from Russell Square. The hostels’ safe, fun and clean accommodation combined with their excellent staff, great locations and their unique and vibrant atmospheres have led Astor Hostels to become some of the best hostels in the world.

Celebrating 40 years – Loving London

Decoco have worked with Astor Hostels to create an identity for their 40th year celebrations,  which includes a 1920s themed party later this month in West London. This identity has been used for Facebook promotions, blog posts and email marketing campaigns. Creating a distinctive identity for these celebrations has been achieved through the use of the colour palette associated with each hostel, incorporating their ‘heart’ symbol and directly linking this identity to their core current branding.

Part of the new identity includes a promotional banner featuring all of Astor Hostels past logos right back to the 1970s. We have also created new promotional banners for use on the night of their celebrations later this month.

This commission follows other work with Astor Hostels, recently most notably translating their website’s homepage in to the most popular languages of their customers, including Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Italian. Decoco will shortly be helping Astor Hostels to make further improvements to their online presence and digital marketing. We have also produced a short brochure to promote their hostels at the WYSTC 2014 Conference in Dublin last month.
